A gentle opener, avoid the fairway bunkers on the left with your tee shot. This will leave you with a short approach to a narrow but flat green.

Gentle opening hole, accuracy off the tee is key to this short par 4 but make sure your second shot is up as plays uphill.

A hole to be played strategically. To carry the water requires an enormous hit. Lay up short of the water leaving a mid to high iron to a well bunkered green.

With water across the fairway, choosing the correct club from the tee to lay up is optimum – the green slopes from back to front so try and leave an uphill putt.

Out of bounds and trees on the right force the ideal tee shot to the middle of the fairway. You are then left with a slightly downhill shot to the green with a mid to long iron.

From the Pro:

An accurate drive is needed with a bunker on the left and OOB on the right. It is all downhill play for the front of the green. High handicappers are advised to play as a par 5.

Right to left sloping fairway, a blind tee shot requires accuracy aimed at the right half. Downhill upon reaching the crest of the hill, a mis-hit shot can often run on to the green that's guarded by bunkers.

Uphill tee shot, right side of the fairway is the line to take as over the hill it slopes right to left. Downhill second shot to a very flat green.

This medium length par 4 is a dog-leg right. Avoid the deep fairway bunkers left and right and you will get a look at the green. A medium iron should be enough from here.

Bunkers right and left, positional tee shot leaves about 140m to the green.

A nervous tee shot across a “cavernous” bunker to a two tiered green complete with swale. The green is heavily guarded by bunkers and mounds. Miss it at your peril!

The signature hole at Eagle Ridge – all the trouble is short but with a two tier green, it is important to be on the same level as the pin otherwise a 3 putt is likely.

A slight double dog-leg. Past the fairway bunkers, a narrow tree-lined “chute” is to be negotiated with the second shot. Two shallow mounds between the two large bunkers at the front and one at the back left guard a wide green.

Not a long par 5 but it demands accuracy. Long hitters can get home in two but need to be good shots. If not, lay up well back to avoid the bunkers short.

An excellent example of the famed par 3's, from the elevated tee it is easy to just enjoy the colourful landscape. This hole presents a sea of sand from tee to green. A landing zone before the green provides some relief for a short drive and opens up approaching the green. Watch for a sea-breeze to bend your drive into trouble.

Gentle downhill par 3 plays a club shorter than its distance.

This short par 5 is not necessarily a pushover. Fairway bunkers and a lake guard the right side. Fairway bunkers on the left catch many stray second shots. A short approach for the third shot is required to a well bunkered green and lushly grassed mounds. ‘Laying up’ before these hazards may be the best option.

From the Pro:

Again, a reachable par 5 for long hitters but bunkers short will catch a poor shot so the lay up can be a sensible play.

The longest par 4 on the course, to par here is a great achievement. The second shot is uphill to a narrow, double tiered green that is framed by three bunkers. Running your shot onto this green could prove quite difficult.

From the Pro:

Long uphill par 4, avoid the bunkers on the right and take plenty of club to the multi-tiered green. A 5 is often a good score.

This beautiful hole contains many features including extensive landscaping with a “rapids” like waterfall, a water carry, a beach bunker and lake to the left and scenic rural views in the distance. The undulating green is the place to be, if you happen to miss the green stay right.

From the Pro:

Beautiful par 3 water short and left but a good shot will gather to the centre of the green.

A small water carry from the tee to the flat fairway below. Avoid the fairway bunker leaving yourself a mid-iron second shot. Make sure you have enough club in hand as most shots to the green are left short.

Long hitters need to avoid the bunker on the left, uphill second shot with a back to front sloping green.

This short par 4 is reachable from the tee for the long hitter but it is a difficult green to access. Avoid the fairway bunkers on the left and play short of the greenside bunkers from the tee.

From the Pro:

The shortest par 4 on the course can be driven by long hitters with a tail wind but an iron from the tee to leave a full shot in to this shallow green is my recommendation.

Bunker trouble on the right makes for accuracy required from the tee. Out of bounds is not far behind the green while bunkers at the front and left of the green are to be avoided. There is a wetlands area right of the green.

From the Pro:

With bunkers right save a good tee shot for this hole. Make sure your second shot is up to avoid the bunkers at the front. Probably the flattest green on the course, hit your putt straight and you won’t go far wrong.

Extensive landscaping of this tee makes it a pleasure to hit from. The wetlands in front of the tee should be easily carried. Fairway bunkers and sloping fairway right and left demands an accurate tee shot. The second shot, must be spot on to avoid the four bunkers around the green.

The fairway slopes right to left, the line off the tee is just inside the left bunker. The green is well bunkered and they are deep so, if you can’t fly it all the way the ay up.

Ten bunkers on this hole are readily awaiting the golfer of all standards. It is a short but straight and narrow par 5 that is heavily treed along the right and out of bounds all the way along the left of the hole. The pot bunker on the right of the fairway catches many second shots. Beware the three bunkers behind the green.

From the Pro:

Again, a reachable par 5 but possibly the hardest fairway to hit – the fairway slopes right to left and the bunker about 100m short can catch your second shot if you are not careful.

The last of the par threes. This par 3 is long but not extremely difficult. Although flat terrain all the way, the island of rough in front of the green catches the running ball. A bunker each side of the green catches the errant tee shot.

This long par 3 can cause problems. If you can’t reach, take the club you hit best with and give yourself a pitch to the green. Four is a good score here.
